Reflecting on interviews with "successful people" and the phrase of you have to love yourself if you want to succeed. I think this is a bit bullshit, as I don't think I love myself, I have physiological & biological processes that drive me. My conscious thought having to navigate around all that, the day to day things that I make a choice towards. Exercise, reading, physical activites to survive for the day (cooking, grocery shopping,etc), and whatever else..

Love yourself, works for some maybe.. education helped me, reflecting on my experience juxtaposed with my education... Full picture... Not this half baked shit...

pain

Avoiding pain is not accepting of your reality

But not all pain should be accepted

Growing in the midst of horror or trauma 

Shapes us for the next moment

And allows us to see the beauty that surrounds us

weird for me

This is weird for me... I remember when the base was active. Was on it once I believe. Always apart of the scenery going from south county to north county... worked near it... commuted near ir for a good part of 20 + years... the flashing blue light atop... the roar of helicopters when it was active..

Same with El Toro... but that's in the past and not longer past of current reality..

being who you want to be...

Those that are willing to speak the truth about humanity... The truth of shared experiences, looking at life through the lens of griefs, or triumphs. Through happy moments and saving ones.. those moments that shake to our core, the grief and sorrow of lose. The unconsolable moment in which life begins the true lessons. Our reality vs our culture vs other cultures across time and peoples no longer here lost to the ancients.

The ebb and flow of tribes and enslavement, make no mistake capitalism is enslavement to greedy humans controlling the resources and trodding down upon the supposed grease of the wheels of capitalism... Just doing business...

Why is this system (capitalism/free market systems) the one that are in place? The countries rich in resources subjugated by feckless grifters portraying populist figureheads for either side.
